This is a working appearance model for Homz (HPI) designed by Radius PD. We first built two large molds for vacuum forming, one male mold and one female mold. We vacuum formed the lid and bottom in a clear material and CNC machined the hinge in acrylic. After painting and detailing, the finished product was very close to a production part. You can now purchase this product at K-Mart and other discount stores. We completed this project in one week. |
