Great reaction thus far from the designers here at SKD! I think we all agree that Models Plus has reset the bar for our expectations. (I've heard a couple of "holy sh**" comments already today.) -I had to drop you a line to tell you what an outstanding job you guys have done on our ICON prototype. Not only is the model sturdy, but the overall fit and finish, the 'prototyped fabric', the silver parts - everything is outstanding. And then to add to it - we switched on the LED lights - and you have wired up a battery without telling us - great. -The parts arrived today and they look very good. I don't have the mating parts yet to check their fit, but they look like they will be fine. Impressive job. I appreciate you getting it done and sticking to your agreed schedule (ahead of schedule on half the order). That is the type of commitment we are looking for. -Hey man, the Dell parts were great. I put them on this morning with no trouble. Dell was here a couple hours ago and they loved the model. They had no criticism of the quality at all. To them, this model represented a hassle free deliverable. It was on time and correct, and that's the kind of stuff they appreciate. It sounds simple, but that's not always the experience they're used to. For this specific designer and team at Dell, Models Plus and M3 are the preferred solution. Thanks again. -J. -Just wanted to let you know that we got the Cat's Paw prototypes yesterday and we're really happy with the quality. We're going to spend a little time with our engineers to tweak the design (adjust wall thicknesses; change some of the openings, etc.), which means there will be another mold iteration. -I just wanted to let you know that we received the foam model and case on Monday as promised. The model looks great and is being shown to potential customers all this week. Everyone here is pretty pleased. The transit case was also impressive. I looks bullet-proof.
